Purple Engineering is a small, engineer-led team that keeps critical pipeline equipment in stock, so Australian projects aren't left waiting on 8 to 14 week overseas lead times.
Between us we bring more than a century of combined industry experience across civil, mechanical and process engineering, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing and supply chain. When you contact Purple, you deal with people who understand your project: engineers who check the specification, estimators who quote it properly, and a projects and warehouse team who get it out the door.

Alex Ocean
Alex founded Purple Engineering in 2013. A civil engineer and member of Engineers Australia with more than 25 years in construction and engineering, he started Purple to end the 8 to 14 week wait for pipeline equipment on Australian projects.

Sanoj Chathuranga
Sanoj is CEO of Purple Engineering. With a BSc in Mineral Processing and a background in QA and product development, he joined Purple in 2021 in technical sales and moved through COO to CEO, leading the business alongside founder Alex Ocean.
