About Chad
Rechard Serenio, known as Chad, is a Mechanical Engineer and Estimator at Purple Engineering. He is a registered mechanical engineer with 15 years of experience in engineering design, estimating, technical sales and product management.
Chad studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technological University of the Philippines on a DOST-SEI scholarship, graduating in 2009, and passed the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination the same year. Before joining Purple he worked as an Application Engineer, a Design and Estimate Engineer and a Technical and Product Manager, supporting a wide range of products and global business clients.
His specialist background is in the design and estimating of HVAC and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, alongside product management and facilities management. At Purple he applies that design and estimating experience to preparing accurate, well-specified estimates. He joined the team in 2023.
